On-Site Kayak Launch!
One of the biggest advantages of renting from Slash Creek Outfitters is our convenient on-site kayak launch. Simply arrive, get fitted with your equipment, and be on the way to your paddling adventure. Calm waters and easy access make this an ideal starting point for both beginners and experienced paddlers.

What to Bring With You

- A phone or camera (waterproof case recommended)
- A sense of adventure and relaxed pace
We provide the kayak, paddle, and life jacket – everything you need to get on the water safely.
Weather Questions?
We want you to have the absolute best time out on the water! Hourly kayak/SUP rentals are weather dependent. Flexible schedules are best as conditions on Hatteras Island can change quickly. Our team monitors the forecast daily and are happy to answer any questions.
