Our Golf Carts are only for use in Hatteras Village. If you’re unsure where you’re staying, give us a call with your rental address and we can help confirm if it’s in an area where we service.
Yes! We offer free delivery to Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras Village with orders over $100. Your rental equipment will be delivered between Noon and 6PM on the day of your scheduled delivery. You do not need to be at your rental address to receive the equipment. Please note, we pick up equipment in the morning unless otherwise noted on the order. Please set your end date for the day you are checking out of your rental. We are unable to accommodate daily deliveries.
We do not offer golf cart delivery. All carts must be picked up at our shop located at 57698 NC Highway 12, Hatteras, NC. We are located directly across from the fire station.
Yes, we have a launch located near our shop. We will assist you in launching the kayak/SUPs before you head out on your water adventure!
Yes! All of our equipment is now available for online booking. If your dates are unavailable for a certain item, please call our store at 252-986-1500.
Golf carts are a high demand item, and certain weeks book out quickly. We suggest making a peak season reservation 2-3 months in advance.
We recommend that you bring sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, a hat, and plenty of water!
Don’t worry if you forgot any of these things at home, we have them available in our shop!
We do not offer surf lessons but have a great relationship with a local surf school that we are happy to set you up with!
In order to rent a golf cart from Slash Creek Outfitters, you must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
Anyone operating the cart must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
To rent beach gear and equipment you must be 18 years of age.
We do require a credit card to secure the reservation and to be held on file for the duration of your rental period. We do not require a deposit, however, your credit card will be subject to be charged for any damages.
Your rental reservation may be canceled without penalty up to 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Cancellations received after that 2-week period will be charged at 50% of the original reservation amount.
Should there be standing water/tide within Hatteras Village, we reserve the right to delay cart pickup or collect carts early. Tide water on the road is salt water and we simply cannot have carts driven through the salt water! We will happily pro-rate your rental.
In the case of emergency evacuations due to hurricanes and storms, we will refund the customer from the date of evacuation for all items.
